Wow! Rome was amazing! Our day started out fast! We had very little time in Rome so we had to run around to try to see everything. There was a worker strike going on in Italy while we were there. So when we got to the Colosseum that morning, it was going to open an hour later than it usually opens. The same situation was going on at the Forum as well. So we didn't really have much of a choice but to wait for them to open. This put us an hour behind schedule. And trust me, we had our schedule down to the very last minute. However I were in Rome so I didn't mind that much. Enjoy the pictures!

YES! It's the Colosseum! :)

The Arch of Constantine was right by the Colosseum.

When you first walk in you see a cross. I loved that :)

The floor is obviously gone. This would have been under the floor where they kept all of the lions and other animals for the gladiator fights.

A view from the Colosseum.

To the left is the Arch of Constantine.

This is the Arch of Titus. It's down the road from the Colosseum.

I couldn't really stop taking pictures of the Colosseum.

This is the entrance to the Forum.

Inside the Forum.

The big white building is the building of Victor Emmanuel II. It's interesting because everyone in Rome really doesn't like it. Victor was apparently a very vain person, so when he built this for himself everyone hated it. But it is really beautiful.

This is the Pantheon. It was a church where all the gods were worshipped. It was a beautiful building!

There was a whole in the top of the dome so there could be light in the building. There were also drain's in the floor so that when it rained the water would go down the drains. Pretty cool!

Obviously, Rome was amazing! I wish we had had more time but I am so grateful for the time what time we were given! :D It was so interesting to see all of the incredible places and buildings! Rome is awesome!
