Florence, Italy was absolutely gorgeous! It was one of my favorites stops. We made it more of a relaxed day since we had run all over Rome. I liked it that way because I got to take in the buildings and things we were seeing :) Enjoy the pictures!

We took a beautiful drive into Florence! I loved all the trees and parks and watching other people go about their business :)

There was a strike going on in Italy (as I told you before), and these are some of the strikers. It was neat to see Italian history being written right there!

We went to this amazing church called The Duomo. It was gorgeous! The architecture and the paintings on it was just amazing! I took way too many pictures of it :P

Mom, Leah and I in front of the Duomo.

This is the baptistery of St. John. It was in front of the Duomo.

Do you see the incredible architecture??

This little, old man was pretty good at the violin!

I thought this was kind of funny :P

We ate lunch at this awesome restaurant in a square.

It was so much fun! We all piled around this long table (as you can see :P)

Sophie and Jacqui!!

This was the square that the restaurant was in. I loved the random carousel!

We stopped at a wonderful gilato store.

All of the delicious flavors. Seriously, all of them are really good!!

Everyone with their yummy gilato!!

Sarah and I :D

Next stop was Pisa! The building with the dome is a baptistery and the building behind it is a cathedral and then the wonderful leaning tower is the... Leaning Tower of Pisa!!

Jaclyn, Jacqui, Sarah and Sam leaning with the tower :P

Sarah and Mrs. Dana :)

Everyone, it actually leans :P

This is the backside of the cathedral :)

Some of us went inside the cathedral. It was beautiful!

Look at this ceiling!!

That is incredible!

We looked around and then saw this. It doesn't exactly fit with the "gorgeousness" going on in the building. :P

Took this picture from the bus. :)

I loved how we saw amazing buildings and saw the culture of Florence as well! It was an amazing day :D
