Welcome Home

I recently learned that at airports across America, wherever thousands of troops are returning home to American soil, a group called Operation Welcome Home a Hero, is doing just that. They are honoring those who deserve our honor by giving these returning soldiers a hero’s welcome. What began at Dallas Fort Worth airport in Texas has also spread to Atlanta, Georgia, and Bangor, Maine. As troops return, they are greeted by the cheers of hundreds of Americans gathered in their honor. A victory line is formed that the troops walk through and rarely a dry eye can be found. This happens almost every single day of the year. You may not be able to come out and join them, but the next time you see an American soldier, walk over and shake their hand. Let them know how much their personal sacrifice is appreciated and that many in America are praying for their safety. They will be honored, and it will bless your day as well!
