Hello! My name is Carrie Miller. I live in Delaware, and I read Resolved To Worship, just like you do.
Recently Alyssa has been camera-less. Galatians 6:6 says "Anyone who receives instruction in the word must share all good things with his instructor." (NIV) The New Living Translation puts it as "Those who are taught the word of God should provide for their teachers, sharing all good things with them."
If you have been spiritually encouraged and/or helped by Alyssa's blog as I have been, I suggest that in fact, she is a spiritual instructor, and I also suggest that $5, $10, or $15 dollars (or more!! :)) is a "good thing". :)
If you would like to help support Alyssa in this way, to communicate your appreciation and care, please go to www.paypal.com and click on "Send Money" in the center of the page. On the following screen, enter the amount you wish to send, and click "My payment is for: friends and family". On Step 2, enter Alyssa's email address: cameraforalyssa@gmail.com in the "To" box, and your own email address in the "From" box. Notice that there is no fee for using Paypal accounts or bank accounts to pay, but there is a $1.03 fee for using a credit or debit card.
I do not know Alyssa beyond reading her blog; I have never met or spoken with her. She does not know that I am doing this. I am just someone who has benefited from her heart for God, her "spiritual candor", and her advice from time to time. However, to verify to you that this is not a scam, I am going to comment under her most recent post with comments open, which happens to be July 29, 2011, called What Keeps Hurt Alive, that I have set up a google account for anyone to use with Paypal to help her purchase a new camera if they wish, and she can comment under if this would be false, as I am sending her the password. Thank you for showing Alyssa your support!!
Soooooo...when are you going to post more????? :P That is a beautiful picture, by the way!
