Imagination

The imagination is such an awesome aspect in a young kids life. To see my little sisters play Pilgrims and Indians makes me feel so much joy :) I remember all of my stories I used to play. I tell you I had an interesting imagination. :P This isn't just going out to the little kids. It's to you older kids too!
The imagination isn't only about fairies and giants and things like that. It's having your brain think and be creative. Imagination gives your brain a little workout. You have to use your brain in order to imagine things.
My Dad was telling me of all the things he did as a kid. They were all so imaginative and creative. Now when you look back to that time kids didn't have computers, TV's, and cell phones. They didn't have these electronics to distract them. They used whatever they had, scraps, old thrown away stuff and created something to play with.
Today I feel kids are losing that imagination and creativity. They are always on video games or watching movies, the list goes on. I'm not saying electronics are bad. I'm saying a lot of time on these things is not good. Get off the electronics and be creative with something else!
O LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of thy people, and prepare their heart unto thee:
As Christians we need to keep our imagination and thoughts on our Lord Jesus Christ. God is the One who has given us our imagination and our creativity, so we need to use that for Him and His glory.
I'm so happy to see my little sisters using their imagination.
God Bless,
Grace

This is too true! I've been really trying to help my little siblings out with that. Aye, it gives me joy as well...
My brothers and I remember when we were younger-och, we had vivid imaginations. We still discuss things that "happened" in those times-we share memories of things that never actually "happened", yet most pleasant memories indeed.

Thanks for sharing! What a tremendous blessing our imaginations are-let us bless the Lord in return, in our use of them.
