Thanksgiving

Happy (late) Thanksgiving everyone!!! I had so much fun this Thanksgiving! We went to my Uncle's and Aunt's new house in Houston, my Grandma was there too. Thursday morning we had pumpkin cake and chocolate chip pumpkin muffins! YUM, it was absolutely amazing. In my Aunt's and Uncle's neighborhood they have little lakes/ponds and ducks. The little girls really wanted to go see the ducks, so Mom, little girls, Aunt Tara and I went to the lake. It was very nice, I took a lot of pictures there. My Uncle is an AMAZING cook. He started cooking after breakfast. We came back home and saw everyone relaxing and decided to join in. The boys were watching some football game and I went to watch the cooking. The afternoon came and it was time to EAT!!!!!! The menu was....Turkey, mashed potato's, green bean casserole, stuffing, 2 kinds of macaroni and cheese, asparagus, gravy, and cranberry frozen stuff. Yes it was delicious and I was full!! So a few hours later, which I was still full, we went down stairs and ate pumpkin tort. *screams* I love this tort it's amazing. Yes our Thanksgiving feast was incredible. That night was very relaxing and nice for me. We visited and watched a movie that is called "An Old Fashioned Thanksgiving" Louisa May Alcott wrote it. It was a sweet story.
I would just like to say that Thanksgiving is wonderful all the family and food, but what Thanksgiving is really about is being thankful, to who? to God the one who gave us that family and food, the one who gave us a chance to see Him one day. We need to be thankful for everything we have, and give that thanks to God.
